Wine & Dine Mondays

Take a fun and fantastic culinary wine tour around the world with the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro’s Wine & Dine Mondays series. Diners are invited to visit various wine regions without leaving the comfort of their seats, as Cecilia and Tracy Burgis of M.S. Walker act as virtual tour guides, moving from region to region and explaining the history, curiosities, nuances of each selection.
Each of the eight events will be held on select Mondays during the fall, beginning on September 26th, 2011 and ending on December 5th, 2011. While "voyaging" the globe, from our vineyards here in the U.S., to Australia, Italy, Spain and France, the series is not simply about the wine. It is also about the wonderful food. Each four-course dinner showcases four wines as well the culinary artistry of Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro’s new executive chef, Richmond Edes, whose creations are designed compliment each featured wine.
This intimate adventure is set in communal seating to encourage conversation, laughter and fun. For the price of $60.00 per person (tax and gratuity not included), guests are treated to the four wines, the full four-course dinner and Cecilia's and Tracy's good cheer, humor and expertise. Reservations are encouraged as most nights sell out well in advance.

In 1976, the wine world was shaken by a blind tasting competition between some the finest Bordeaux Châteaux and selected California estates. Known forever as the Judgment of Paris, it affected winemaking around the world. The wine wars have not ended. On this night, Russian River takes on Burgundy and Napa takes on Bordeaux.
Sunny Sicily, featuring the Wines of Cusumano
December 5th, 2011 7:00PM
The lovely coasts, the lovely mountains...Sicily stands apart in Italy in its regard for the past. Brothers Diego and Alberto Cusumano are renegade traditionalists. Selecting grapes from three different estates, they coax with modern methods a bright explosion of flavor -- the ultimate expression of Sicily’s indigenous grapes.
